It was a strange feeling, especially at meals and nighttime, not to be helping other little people. But, Sabrena and I had a blast hitting garage sales and children's clothing consignment stores, all the while cuddling baby Emily. I think next time I'll try and bring Evelyn with me and make it a girls' trip.
I timed the visit to coincide with the wedding of one of my high school friends, Natasha. That way I could catch up with some old high school friends as well. Of course, I was unable to be serious at the reception after the wedding. I even convinced my friends to join in with my shenanigans. Tasha thought it was great.
Seriously, I had the coolest friends in high school ever.
We even went to a hoot'n'nanny which was super fun! Emily will learn to like the stench of cow...
And in the end, I got to come home to these cuties!!
