The first weekend in September we drove to Utah for a dual-family baby blessing event. My sister Kari was blessing her son, David, and my other sister, Kelsey, was blessing her daughter, Ally. As luck would have it, Evy needed to go potty JUST before the blessing and Paul was in neither blessing circle. I was devastated.
We stayed with our friends, the Deans, so Alec and Evy got some playtime in with Canon and Stella Clare!
We also met up with my brother, Kevin, and his family. They'd travelled up from Texas and would be heading back to Vegas with us, where we were able to enjoy some time with them and their darling little boys!!
James loves babies, so having Karson around made him super happy. He didn't even complain when getting his hair pulled. Oh, how we wish we lived closer to them.
I loved Evy's smile here. My kids think Costco is one of the best places ever, because of all the samples.
She hid behind the treadmill with her contraband (Rice Krispies).
One Saturday we headed to another ward's obstacle course and ran into Alec's friend, Logan!
Each time they completed the course they earned another medal, so the boys did it several times.
And, of course, 'dress like a pirate day'!! Krispy Kreme gives a dozen donuts to each child that dresses up! We delivered donuts to friends all afternoon.
At the end of the month, Paul's folks arrived. The kids love having Granny & Grandad around. It means someone is always there to read to them, build Lego's, or cuddle.
