A bit of catching up...

Not much has happened lately, so here are some cute pictures and small tidbits.

After trying out the 'bowl cut' and discovering it made Alec's head look huge, I tried a simpler approach, just a 1". Here's a 'before' picture and then several 'after's:We have officially started into the tantrum phase and time-outs are being employed. Here's Alec attempting to be let off early with pleas of "Mamma" and crocodile tears (yes, he is wearing his train swimsuit over his overalls).Last weekend Alec got invited to the 'girls night' my sister Kari threw (during Kevie's bachelor party). I missed the photo, but during 'Bride & Prejudice' he lifted his shirt (as the girls wear saris) and started dancing to the Bollywood film!! First Haircut

Alec has been sporting a mullet...that's right, a red-neck, disgusting, 'business in the front, party in the back' mullet. With not much hair on top, I was biding my time in giving him his first haircut. But, when my cousin Danny stopped by on his visit from Texas, we decided to chop it off. Danny did the honors with a pair of scissors, then I used Paul's hair trimmer to even it all out. He actually didn't do too bad. Like any red-blooded one year old he hates holding still, so it took about 4 different sessions to even it all out, but the result was worth it!

Milo's Summer Cut

Las Vegas is definitely not the best climate for our two fluffy puppies. Milo, our keeshond, especially has a difficult time coping with the heat. Since he's begun shedding his winter coat (they shed twice a year), we decided it would be a good time to clip his hair. So, I've included a before and after shot. His fur was around 3.5" long, I trimmed it to 1". We think he looks adorable and he was sure happy, jumping and running around.
