Paul and I enjoyed a child-free evening at my cousin, Danny's wedding. Sometimes, the best part of these gatherings is catching up with all the family in town visiting.

Our two favorite things as a family are going to the park and READING.
Alec is a fantastic reader and James is doing wonderfully already. I'm sure that trait will pass on to Evelyn. We go to DI at least once a month and get a huge stack of books. Then we negotiate with the manager for a lower price. Did you know you could negotiate?? We just found out recently and it's been so much fun!
As a result our home is littered with books and the children are usually laying around reading.
This was Alec's idea for 'Wear a tie to school day'. I think he looks dashing.
