We were so excited that Paulwood be home for dinner one night this week. And luckily it fell on Valentine's Day. We kept up our tradition of Chinese takeout, and the boys desperately wanted maraschino cherries with some ginger ale and cranberry juice. They had picked out a three dollar toy from Deseret industries earlier in the week as their presents, so they were mostly excited about that...and the candy!
Alec already had a bag of candy from his school party, but he'd been very good about only taking two, as I'd asked.
The children and I had had a special Valentine breakfast at my parents house, with stuffed French toast and banana compote. Yummy!
