Yesterday, after returning from throwing out a dirty diaper, I found that I had left the diaper bag down too low:
So, I asked Alec if he thought that was a good idea, since it dirtied up his wipes, this was his only reply:
I love being a mommy. Alec's so happy just to be alive and I love that his expressions and personality are so like Paul. It helps keep me upbeat when I miss Paul too much. Thanks goodness for video chatting!

How long is Paul over here for? It must be hard not being together but nice you can video chat. Peter has been sad this week with Daddy being away. His little face keeps crumpling up and turning to heart-wrenching tears when we say goodbye to him on the phone in the morning after having our devotional together. Then on Friday morning when he did the same again, and was clearly feeling overwhelmingly sad, I told him that Daddy would come back and see him today at bedtime and give kisses and cuddles. He looked at me and said "Daddy toot-toot". He knows Daddy goes on the train when he leaves and comes back on a train again. He picked that up the first week he was away. So I said yes he was coming back on the train today and he seemed a little relieved. So sweet and sad at the same time that he loves and misses his Daddy so much.
I hope you're doing well. It's nice Alec has some other family around him too. :o)
