Granny & Grandad visit

Granny & grandad came to visit for their annual fortnight trip! Evy was in heaven-being held all day by a loving granny! (She's been in slight withdrawal since.) The boys enjoyed swimming, the Springs Preserve & our daily routine shared. With a three month old baby & school just begun we weren't able to do any major trips, but it was very relaxing to have them here without any major plans.

We had held off blessing Evy until they came (as with the boys), which worked out to be the same Sunday as the Primary Program, so Alec got to speak in sacrament as well. 😃 Evy's middle name, Suzanne is derived from 'Susan' & my/my mother's middle name 'Ann'.

We also got a nice shot of James with his grandad & namesake!

Four months!

Four months old marks some fun milestones for little miss. She's now able to roll over, veerrrrryyyy slowly. We discovered this first when she rolled off the side of the ottoman, where I'd set her whilst I grabbed wipes & a diaper. Poor little girl!

She's gone from sucking on her whole hand to just her thumb. 😔 I've been trying (very unsuccessfully) to make her a pacifier baby, but she rebuffs my efforts at all attempts.

She's also begun gurgling & baby chattering to us at appropriate times, so she must be learning the rhythms of speech (is that the term?), which the boys love-they ask her questions, then proceed to 'interpret' her sounds!

She's still very smiley & happy, which we adore! She has the entire family wrapped around her sweet little pinky.
